GosHawk

The GosHawk is our new two seat aircraft designed for soaring or cross country cruising with superlative efficiency.
Electric GosHawk still in Future
It is true the first GosHawks will be powered by the HKS 700E motor. This 60 BHP four stroke four valve per cylinder motor is efficient and light. It is well suited to a motor glider and touring glider application. It is also the motor towards which our efforts are directed for the NASA CAFE Green Prize.
An electric GosHawk is still in the future. We have some new partner ships that will allow us very well tested and reliable brushless motor propulsion systems. These motors will run from 400 to 800 Volts. The current draws at these very high voltages are very low. Wire diameters are low and so are the losses. Lightweight and efficient, that is the way we like to do it. At this time we do not have pricing and availability of the electric aircraft. We estimate it is still two years away. But in the mean time we have orders and are accepting orders for HKS powered GosHawks.
